A 1960′s Jaguar and 1950′s Messerschmitt were just two of the cars celebrated at the recent 2011 Krasl Concours. The Jaguar MK 9 (pronounced Mark Nine) Saloon was produced between 1959 and 1961 and featured a standard transmission. While theĀ 1955 Messerschmitt KR200 was manufactured in Germany and featured plaid upholstery and polished wood trim.
The event for vintage cars takes place in August of each year at the Krasl Art Center in St. Joseph, Michigan. An application is required for participation. You can access the website here or become a fan of the center on Facebook.

Have an extra 5,495 in British Pounds Sterling? This 1960 White Morris Minor 1000 can be yours. Of course, you’ll have to pay for freight to the U.S., which I’m sure won’t be cheap. But it’s a bargain for a fully restored British classic.
Or, you can switch to a slightly more banged up version and avoid expensive international shipping with this Morris Minor located in New Hampshire and listed on eBay for $6,000 USD.
The Minor was produced in from 1950 to 1971 by the Morris Motor Company, creators of the iconic Woody Wagon.

This 1972 Corvette Stingray defines a muscle car.
My grandmother moved to Tampa with her family at the age of 9. She’s got great stories of riding down the highway crammed in the backseat on top of the luggage of a car just like this.
The Strawberry Classic Car Show is held the third Saturday of every month in Plant City, Florida. You can view all of the images in the set by clicking here.
